Chinese orchestra concert in Penang is over!! This time's competition is the most fun!! Normally we go for two days only, but this time three days!! Now lets see what we did we do during these three days..
DAY 1:-
When we reach Penang, we went straight to Dewan Sri Pinang for symphony competition while others get to go to Gurney Plaza =.= Competition starts at 1pm. We get to practice at the room. I'm scared till half dead cuz we seriously suck. OMG. And we performed "I will follow Him" and "when the saints go marching in" It's like performing in a circus =.= Anyways, we got gilver and bronze. only jit sin get GOLD if i'm not mistaken. They are good in everything. GAH.
After that, CO Group B competition starts. Both our teams get GOLD!!! They were great!! Even ppl from other school sms to tell me that they were sooo geng.. *yeah* *pressure in the air for the Group A's*
Day 2 :-
This day is our big day.. We went to the hall early in the morning for practice. We practiced quite well actually.. We were a little more confident than before.. The only thing that we are afraid of is to memorise the score.. before the competition, our eyes were like staring at the score, tryin to rmb every note.. *notes please go inside the head* Finally , it's time for us to shine! Can we do it? We don't know. The thing that I fear the most happened!! I really forgot some parts! I don't know what to do so I followed Brenda. The nightmare for cello group arrived.... We played less two bars!! After we realise that, We quickly change to play the correct part. Then whole cello kelam kabut! *SCARY* I don't know whether it was obvious or not. When we came down from the stage, we knew we did badly. A lot more worse than practice. Many people cried. We were speechless. We just sat on the corridor there, don't know what to do. Then we went to buy ice-cream, they say eat ice-cream can cheer people up.
Then it was results time... The judges commented on the competition teams. He praised our junior teams!! We were so happy. Last year they praised us, this year they praised us again! And the most important thing is.... WE GET GOLD also!!!! The first year THREE GOLDS> OMG!!!~~~ Although we still can do better, but we are happy that we still get gold. Lack of practice and we still can do this great is consider okay. Nevermind, we still got chance to shine in CHINA!!!
W went for dinner at gurney drive. *yum yum* Then we went to the sea side. We did many lame things there and took many photos too. I think that is the most memorable part in this trip. the whole gurney drive is full of our people. We are so high. The wholer gurney drive is full of our laughter and noise. LOL
DAY 3 :-
Today we are free!! We went shopping at Queensbay mall from 11am till 3.30pm!! *woots woots* I bought two t-shirt and a graduation teddy bear for mum *shh~ don't tell her* This shopping trip is a success! Lol.. Owh. And Breanda said there's our news in today's newspaper. Btw, It's already a hot topic in facebook. Go check it out if you want. LOL!
Three days passed in just a blink of an eye. Every time after co competition I will have all those mixed feelings that cannot be described. This time the feeling is so strong. I'm already form four, one more year to enjoy.. and there's only a few competition left. I must appreciate every moment of it. It's difficult and hard, but I must be strong. Because of those hard times, we know the meaning of happy when the results came out. Because of those hard times, we get our gold medals. Becuase of those hard times, appreciate the times we have with each other. AMCCO fighting!~
